My Love (version 1)
[recording not
available] |
In 1964 and 1965 The
Escorts recorded many tracks in Lee Hazen's
cottage studio (or kitchen) in Ormond Beach, FL.
The Escorts used to play these tapes for potential
club gigs
so the owner would know what they sounded like.
3 of these tracks were released in 2013 on:
'Skydog: The Duane Allman Retrospective' (7-CD
box set):
"Turn On Your Love Light"
"No Name Instrumental"
"What'd I Say"
Here are the other titles they recorded.

Around late 1964 or early 1965 Duane Allman

Jim Matherly, the regular guitarist of
"Sweet William & The Stereos" took over

Lee Hazen made recordings of a rehearsal
of "The Escorts" without Duane Allman
at the Martinique Club in Daytona Beach, FL.
