In 1964 and 1965 The Escorts recorded many tracks in Lee Hazen's
cottage studio (or kitchen) in Ormond Beach, FL.
The Escorts used to play these tapes for potential club gigs
so the owner would know what they sounded like.
3 of these tracks were released in 2013 on:

Around late 1964 or early 1965 Duane Allman
left "The Escorts" for a few months to play with
"Sweet William & The Stereos" in Fort Pierce, FL
in a big club called the Shamrock.
Jim Matherly, the regular guitarist of
"Sweet William & The Stereos" took over
Duane's place in "The Escorts".
Lee Hazen made recordings of a rehearsal
of "The Escorts" without Duane Allman
at the Martinique Club in Daytona Beach, FL.
